The Deputy Prime Minister of Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan attended a large public meeting during a visit to Panjshir province today and addressed it at a time when the Taliban government is being criticized.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Borders and Tribal Affairs, Minister for Industries and Commerce, Governor Panjshir, provincial officials of Panjshir Province, tribal leaders, ulema and Mujahideen.

Addressing the public meeting, tribal leaders and ulema of Panjshir said that the people of Panjshir have now breathed a sigh of relief in the government of the Islamic Emirate. The people are fed up with the old faces tried and do not support them anymore.

People are against anarchy, violence and the oppressive occupation of the government. He invited former officials going abroad to return to the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir thanked the people of Panjshir for their cooperation with the Islamic Emirate and said that the government attaches equal importance to jihad against the former Soviet Union and the West.

He said that the purpose of both jihads was to end the aggression from Afghanistan and implement the Islamic system. Fortunately, the Islamic Emirate has achieved both objectives. Afghans no longer face linguistic and regional tensions and wars.

He added that after the departure of foreigners from Afghanistan, no tactic to create differences among Afghans has succeeded. He asked the clerics of Panjshir province to invite former officials who had left the country to return on behalf of the government. He said the Islamic Emirate would welcome him.

Referring to the policy of the Islamic Emirate, he made it clear that no one is allowed to spread chaos in the country and use Afghan soil against others. The Afghan government is struggling to expand relations with its neighbors, regional countries and the world.
