Bank of Afghanistan announces $16 million auction
The Bank of Afghanistan is selling $16 million ($16) million in an auction on April 30 to devalue the dollar against Kabul Afghani.
In a press release sent to Bactria News today, the bank asked all money changers and commercial banks to participate in the tender under the conditions laid down and mandated the winners of the tenders to settle their accounts by the end of the day.
Earlier, the Bank of Afghanistan had sold $16 million to devalue the dollar against The Afghani.
According to the Bank of Afghanistan, the exchange rate of one US dollar in the market today was .72.37 Afghani.
