Afghan Foreign Minister conveys condolences to Iranian President’s Special Representative on behalf of Afghan people
Afghan Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Mutaqi called on Iranian President’s Special Representative and Ambassador of Iran to Kabul Hassan Kazmi Qummi today and expressed condolences and sympathy on behalf of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the people of Afghanistan on the tragic death of Iranian President Dr. Syed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian and others. The Foreign Minister appreciated the promotion of regional cooperation, especially the cooperation of the late President and Foreign Minister with Afghanistan.
At the same time, the Iranian ambassador in Kabul thanked the government and people of Afghanistan for the message of condolence and said that after this incident, we first received a condolence message from the Afghan government and the Afghan people.
He also described the relations between the people and governments of Afghanistan and Iran as excellent.
