Iran’s president’s helicopter crashes
The iranian president’s helicopter that crashed was a nearly 30-year-old Bell 212, which was built in 1994. It is certified only for visual flight and has a seating capacity of 6 passengers.
Its engine power is weak and it cannot fly high with heavy loads in mountainous areas. Especially when its frame has had more than 10,000 flying hours, nor does it have the capability of avionics.
If the pilot or flight planners made the flight in bad weather without proper equipment, it is gross negligence, which amounts to culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
U.S. Department of Commerce statement:
Iran asked us for help in President Raisi’s helicopter crash, but we could not provide help due to logistical reasons.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s ring was found in the wreckage of the helicopter.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced a day of mourning across Turkey after the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter after a cabinet meeting.
